Faces of European Integration: Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector on the Path to the EU Market

European integration opens up new opportunities for Ukraine’s agricultural sector – from access to one of the world’s largest markets to attracting investment, adopting modern technologies, and integrating into European value chains. At the same time, making the most of these opportunities requires proactive efforts today to align with EU standards and regulations.

Faces of Ukraine’s Path towards the EU is a joint campaign by Ukraine2EU and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, highlighting the people and processes bringing Ukraine closer to EU membership.

The featured speaker in the new episode is Oleksandra Avramenko, Chair of the European Integration Committee at the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) and Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

In the video, Oleksandra shares how Ukraine’s agricultural sector is adapting to European standards, what opportunities the EU market of more than 500 million consumers offers to Ukrainian producers, and why dialogue between government, business, and international partners is essential for successful integration.
